Still of the Night Peace

The still of nighttime is such a calming and peaceful part of the night. All is quiet and somewhat motionless.

It is no wonder that the initial design for the first successful electric light bulb by Thomas Edison is thought to have taken place during late-night work sessions. And then there was Paul Revere's ride, that pivotal event in American history that warned of the British coming.

The event that took place thousands of years ago during a silent night is by far one of the most important one for all of us. The night our Savior was born.

Silent Night. Holy Night.

Shepherds quake at the sight

Glories stream from heaven afar

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia

Christ the Savior is born

Christ the Savior is born

Luke 2:14 NLT
