Stand for Something

He was something for sure. We loved him and had no doubt what he stood for. He loved that Aaron “Tippet” (as he called him) song, “You Got to Stand for Something”. The last line in that song, “You got to stand for something, or you’ll fall for anything”, sums up the point I want to get across to you today.

We need to be aware of how the devil continues on a daily basis to “try” to pull the wool over our eyes.

One of the words used to describe him in the scriptures is cunning (crafty). He will use every means possible to get your eyes off of Jesus and on being a success in the world system. He will use other people to heap on guilt and insecurities.

Since we know this about the enemy, don’t fall for any of his tricks. Stand up against his attacks and defeat him through the power of the Word and Jesus name.
