A couple of things we say to clarify that someone is ready …” You’re all set” and “You’re good to go”. How does that apply to just living your life daily? How ready are you? Are you setting (fixing) your mind on the right things?

Boy, I’m full of questions. Now, for some help for you in these areas.

The desires of one’s heart can either be good or bad, they can’t be both. None of that one foot in what is true and right and the other in lies and deception. That type of living only brings heartache and confusion.

It takes effort on our part to train our minds to stay where they need to be. Paul says to “fix your thoughts”.

What are we to think about? We should give our attention to what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable and things that are excellent and worthy of praise. If we “fix” or “set” our thoughts on those things, then the direction of our life is just naturally going to be better.

Think of it this way…when concrete “sets” it is not going to be moving all around. Set your thoughts on those things mentioned in today’s scripture and your life won’t be all over the place.

Philippians 4:8 NLT

[8] And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
