As you may or may not have noticed, I didn’t do devotionals for about a week. Bobby and I were at a convention where we were honored with the “Total Financial Freedom” award in Salt Lake City.

We had to get up early and go to bed late for several days. Full disclosure, I was lax in keeping up with my daily Bible readings while there. I did get caught up, but that “Rise and Shine” thing was more “Rise and Get some Coffee Before any Shining Happens”. Ha.

What I had to realize is that it should never matter where I am, or what time it is, being thankful to God should always be my mindset. Whether there is coffee involved or not, I am alive and kicking and with wonderful people. I am making memories that will last a lifetime.

And if I have to do my Bible studies a little differently, that’s okay. My heart should always be filled up and overflowing with thankfulness to God.

Psalm 50:14-15 NLT

[14] Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. [15] Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory." #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
