Radiant with Joy

We’ve heard that the “joy of the Lord is our strength”. That has been put to the test in many folks' lives.
Have you ever been around someone who is really “going through it” yet you can’t tell it by their countenance? They have learned something we all should learn. You can’t live your life based just on the circumstances that surround you. Sure, things might be tough at the present moment, but your joy should never be coming solely from the good stuff anyway. It comes from something deeper than material possessions.
When your relationship with the Lord is more important than “the good, the bad and the ugly” you shift from material to spiritual. Your joy is from within you and then radiates out to others.
What others notice is not a “poor pitiful ole’ soul”. They see joy and peace that can only come from a force that cannot be defeated…. the force of love from the Father.
When they are around you, some of that joy rubs off on them. You have allowed the “joy of the Lord” to shine through. You are “radiant with joy” and that joy is “like a billboard…it shows all over your face.
Psalm 34:5 NLT
[5] Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
