Psst, Did You Hear What ____ Did?

Why do most people always want to hear that “juicy” tidbit or gossip about someone? I think it probably makes them feel better about themselves. They think, “I’m not as bad as her, look what she Is doing!”

I have been guilty of wanting to “be in the know” before. (More times than I’d want to admit) Then at some point, a light came on and I realized, if this person I am listening to is sharing all of this about _____, then heaven knows what she is saying about me when I’m not around.

One of the rudest things, is to talk about others in a negative way. When someone is mentioned in conversation with others, it should be to build them up, not tear them down.

Since we all know better, let’s do better!!
