Persistence Pays Off

Being persistent doesn’t mean that you have a “hissy fit” like you did as a child. Not many were successful in getting their way using that tactic.


The kind of persistence I’m referencing today is the kind that causes you to believe to the point of receiving. You have removed your doubt and replaced it with determination and perseverance.

Jesus shared the story of just that type of determination from a lady requesting help from a judge.


Because of her persistence she received justice (from an unjust judge).


And the thing is, imagine going before our just God. It just makes sense that He would be fair and listen to our requests. Right? It then falls on our shoulders, as we pray, we are to persistently trust and believe His promises.


Luke 18:1 NLT

[1] One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.
