Have you ever noticed how a cat can settle in and sleep pretty much anywhere? Something may startle them from time to time. But when they realize they are secure in their home, they just settle back into that peaceful slumber. They truly understand the term of “going with the flow”. I love that about them.
Did you know you can experience that same kind of peace? There is no need to worry about sudden changes. No unexpected event should ever be able to take your peace away. “Going with the flow” doesn’t always mean getting your way. Peace is more important than your own opinion.
When peace is missing in a home, all other things become insignificant. Enjoying the company of another individual is hardly even possible. Having food to eat, money to spend, entertainment or family around is not enough when you’re not at peace in your own life.

As you live your life in relationship with Jesus, there should be a peace that even you don’t understand. When you are irritated or frustrated by a situation, make a conscious effort to allow His peace to guard your heart and mind.
It could mean seeing things differently and listening to understand. It could mean not dominating someone’s time but allowing them to pursue other things that interest them. It could mean strengthening your relationship through communication and understanding. Whatever it takes, keep in mind that your ultimate goal is to have peace, wonderful peace.
Philippians 4:7 NLT
[7] Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
