Not Feeling the Love?

Think about all that Jesus did while here … up to … and in & through His death. Did anything He did or say make a difference to some people? Did He “feel the love” just pouring out of them wanting what He had? Or did many of them hate Him to the point of His death?
Those that chose not to really listen to His message and believe His teachings hated Him. They took every opportunity to test Him and make accusations that ultimately led to His death.
Today’s verses are a reminder to us as believers. There WILL BE THOSE that will willfully make a decision not to be your friend. More than that, they may even decide to add a little hatred to their dislike.
The Bible instructs us in Romans 12:18, “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.” But, we are also reminded that some will hate us, and that is to be expected because they first hated the Lord. Even after all the “love teachings”, they still hated Him.
The thing is, that hatred will not excuse them. They need what you have. They need the “love and forgiveness” that comes from Jesus. You share this with them (even if they hate ya) and they will have no excuse for living in sin. They have seen and heard the truth and have chosen to either reject or believe.
John 15:18,22 NLT
"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. [22] They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.
