No Risk in a Sure Thing

This verse today has that “wow” factor. Who knew that the Bible gave advise on the thing a lot of folks are sucked into all the time? I love it!

I was one of those folks for years! An “opportunity” would come along, and a company would make promises that there was no way they could honestly make good on. They promised that if you just dream and buy into their plan, life would be amazing. They would emphasize how being in on the “ground” floor would guarantee success. Minimal work for maximum results. The company itself would be in debt to their eyeballs. And what people failed to see is by following their “plan” they would in turn be in debt. No one on the outside would know they were in debt, because they were trained to pretend that they were on top of the world. (With a stock of stuff, they would never use)

Get rich quick schemes just don’t work. They never will. It may seem good for a while, but eventually it will blow up in your face and will hurt those that you have brought along with you.

Hard work doesn’t have to be “hard”!!!! But consistently doing the right things with the right company will pay off over time.

When you are faced with a decision about a company, ask some questions that will help you know without a doubt it is a reputable and safe place to be.

1. Is it debt free and been around long enough to have a good or bad reputation?

2. Is what they offer something people need and use up and need again?

3. What about cost, is it the same price or less expensive than what you pay now for same items?

4. Are these things safe to have around your family?

5. Do you have to buy up inventory to have on hand for others?

6. Is everything American-made and fresh?

7. Does the company care about you or just the bottom line?

8. Do they publish their income statistics for anyone to see?

9. Do they teach you to be deceptive or tell you that the truth is good enough?

Today’s post was a little different, but I hope it was helpful to many of you. It is important to me that I cover all the bases in what I share each day. I’m not saying for you to sit around and do nothing. I’m encouraging you to check before you jump right into something. I did and am forever thankful that I did.

Proverbs 13:11 NLT
