Moving Ahead

It is easier to move forward with your life when you have the support of others. Even if what you’ve experienced in your life has been catastrophic, the knowledge that there is a dependable friend that “has your back” can help you through it.

Maybe you’ve experienced that very thing, or maybe you have been that for someone who you love. I have been on both sides of the support system in my life…needing someone and being that someone.

I have also experienced a time when those I thought would be there, weren’t. That was a devastating time for me. We have got to recognize what is going on in the lives of people around us who are struggling. If you notice a change in someone you are near to, show you care in some way or another.

If you are a Christian who truly loves God and lives your life in complete faith in Him…be assured that He “has your back.” You can do “all” things through the strength that comes from Him.

Continue to move ahead in faith and reach forward for the goal of being exactly what God wants you to be. Today’s scripture tells us “That’s exactly what He wants us to do and is the very reason He made us His.”

Philippians 3:12 ERV

[12] I don't mean that I am exactly what God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal. But I continue trying to reach it and make it mine. That's what Christ Jesus wants me to do. It is the reason he made me his.
