Mighty Angels

Have you ever started to read a chapter in the Bible, with yellow highlighter in hand to highlight the scriptures that speak to you, only realize that when you’ve finished, the whole chapter is yellow? That is Psalms 91. I am emphasizing 3 verses today but read the whole chapter. You will be blessed.
There are so many things coming at us right now. Things that without the Lord's help, are next to impossible to face. I find so much comfort in knowing who is helping me. I used to think, “but how can He help a vast number of people at the same time?” Then I remember, He is omnipresent and therefore that is no problem. That may seem hard to grasp, but just because we don’t always understand it all, doesn’t make it any less true.

One of the coolest things to know is that He uses angels to aid us in whatever we are facing. The protection they provide us, is just a really big “wow”. It’s not a fairytale, a made for tv Disney thing, or a cherub creature with a bow and arrow. It is mighty angels helping us and holding us up.
We often use the term angel loosely. Saying things like, “she is such an angel” “be an angel and get me a cup of coffee” “God needed another angel” (usually a way for some to handle grief) But y’all-you are missing out if that is the way you look at the angels God has for us.
I prefer to think of these angels that God has as strong and mighty. Better than any superhero in a movie. The level of protection they can provide is amazing.
I do want to remind you that you can’t live like the devil, saying all sorts of bad things and expect things to go well for you. This is not because God doesn’t want good for you (because He absolutely does), but you have got to want it too.
You also have to use good sense in situations. Walking out in fast traffic is not smart. Living on the edge without using the “sense God gave you” is just foolish.
But you can live a life without fear of what “may” or “may not” happen. If you believe what the Bible says (and I do) God gives protection. Sometimes we just have to be still and listen to that still small voice giving direction. God will order His angels to give you the protection you need.
I do know that it is appointed to every man/woman to die. When that is, no one really knows. When it does, don’t say, God needed an angel, so he called Paula home. Be thankful I was here and tried to give hope to as many as I could.
Psalm 91:5,11-12 NLT
[5] Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. [11] For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. [12] They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
