Might as Well Face It

Let’s get real here. Remember when you fell in love (or thought it was love) that first time? You couldn’t go a day without thinking about that guy or gal. You couldn’t wait for the next time you would be with them. When you went to sleep, they were on your mind and when you opened your eyes the next morning…your thoughts went directly to them.
Then something happened, and just like that he or she no longer “loved you”. You thought your life was over…until…love was back in an instant when you saw your teenage dreamboat walk in the room.
Love was fickle back then. We really weren’t “in love”. We were “in love with love”. We were addicted to the feelings that came with being attached to someone. We had no clue what unfailing love really was. We just knew that we needed love in our lives.
As we started to mature in our lives, we began to understand that there is more to love than just feelings. We learned having love in our lives requires something of us. We must love our significant other in the same way that God loves us and them.
He loves us through it all with an unfailing, supernatural love. He cares about what we are going through. You might as well face it, love (God kind of love) is the cure for any relationship that is facing issues. Just keep trying to out-love each other. (I’m not saying I’ve perfected this, just try to do better every day)
Psalm 31:7 NLT
[7] I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
