Make Room for Jesus

I know, I know…you are busy! We are all busy with one thing or another. There are times we feel as though we can’t make room for anything else. This time of year, there is decorating, the extra get-togethers, parties, shopping, baking and for some “elf on the shelf” along with preparing for “Santa”.

All of these things can be important activities and bring loads of happiness but let me encourage you to also (or most importantly) …make room for Jesus. It is, after all, His birth we are celebrating. Take time to make sure your children understand the true meaning of Christmas.

Even sing:

“Away in a manger

No crib for a bed

The little Lord Jesus

Laid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky

Looked down where He lay

The little Lord Jesus

Asleep on the hay”
