It is so easy to recognize the horrible in someone else’s life and totally miss the goofy judgmental in our own. We are quick to point out how “so-in-so” is doing “wrong things” and should be dealt with. But it is not our call to seek revenge on them.

There is plenty of “rotten fruit” out there and give it time and it will fall (be brought to light) We need to realize we are not the judge and jury; God is.


Our job is to occupy until Jesus comes back for us. And in that occupying, we need to be aware of our own lives. We need to examine who we are inside and out. We need to be the light that shines in these dark times.


James 1:21 TLB

[21] So get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside, and humbly be glad for the wonderful message we have received, for it is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts.
