Living Your Life with Wisdom

Whether you were educated at a public school; private school or homeschool…there was a lot you learned that you needed to get by in life. One of those things was learning to read. But you had to get past “Dick and Jane” and what they did in their life to more complicated books. Books that taught daily life principles.
What you read is crucial in life. But even more than reading, is understanding what you read. Some people are still reading on the level of Dick and Jane. They look at the pictures and read the simple dialogue. Many don’t care if they ever have an understanding of more complicated issues.
Life is so much more than what you learned in school. It is what you continue to learn daily and apply…that would be “wisdom living”! Your source of this wisdom comes from an array of experiences that have touched your life. You have learned how to either live a better life or how to just survive.
Sometimes surviving seems easier to you than trying to have a better life. It just seems like developing a life of good judgement is for others and not you. How sad.
Being able to have good judgement is so needed in today’s world. That is something that is developed by understanding what’s going on around you. It is developed by reading the right things and listening to the right people. It’s not living in the past.
So many people spend their lives in the past and how “life used to be”. Get up and out of that rut and live a great life with the wisdom you are blessed to have available to you.
Proverbs 4:5-7 NLT
[5] Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don't forget my words or turn away from them. [6] Don't turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. [7] Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
