What in the world does that really mean? There is so much to cover, you would get tired of reading. So here is a description I found that is a great start. “Living together peacefully rather than fighting or arguing”.

We all have the tendency to believe we are the one that is right in any given situation. Even when, on occasion, we are not. The problem doesn’t lie in the “being right”, it lies in the attitude that “I’m never wrong!” What happens then, is conflict between those that should be really close. And when it’s family that is involved, Lordy! Because it’s family we tend to think we can say and do whatever we want regardless of how it hurts the other family member. And personalities galore with which to deal, is a challenge.

Never lose sight of the needs of the person with whom you are conversing. Everyone chooses their path in life. Maybe it is not what you would’ve chosen (well duh! You didn’t), but they did. Refusing to allow them their excitement because in your eyes you “know what’s best”, and “this ain’t it”, is hurtful.

When conflict does arise, and you can’t seem to live in harmony due to hurt or even anger, maybe remove yourself from the situation for a little bit and re-evaluate. What part did you play, and could you have done things differently? Did you approach things from a heart of love or “I know it all and you are gonna listen?”

Yall…this is something we need to get right. Life is too short to be alienated from each other due to stuff that could be avoided. Every single one of us could do better.

A simple “I’m sorry” could go a long way. But… (oh no, there’s a but) mean it when you say it and say it like you mean it!

Romans 12:15-16 NLT

[15] Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. [16] Live in harmony with each other. Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all! #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
