Frustration is a natural reaction to not getting where you want to be in a timely manner. For example, I intended to have this devotion online this morning, but due to things conflicting, it just didn’t happen. That is frustrating to me but is not the end of the world.
When things come up and we realize we are not moving toward a desired goal, we need to take that as a pause, not an end. Sometimes things happen a little at a time and not all at once. Do what you can do when you can and try to do better tomorrow. When you do better it is a win for you.
What you learn during the pause is just as important, if not more important, than what you’re battling.
You are developing endurance and patience. You are seeing the importance of having confidence in allowing the Lord to help you fight your battles.
Romans 5:3-4 NLT
[3] We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. [4] And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
