Listen Up

When you start out as a little one in this world, your slate is clean. You have the sin nature, but with the opportunity to do and be anything. There is trial and error involved, but the opportunity to be a part of something is there.

As you get older, you begin to realize that this growing up thing is a lot harder than you thought, and you need the help of someone stronger and more capable than you.

When you come to that point, a new start and clean slate is available to you. This is the time to give your life over to Jesus and begin anew. A new life built on an eternal foundation…a foundation of listening to and following the teachings of Jesus.

Basically, you have learned to “listen up” and follow Him. What a great way to grow into adulthood…with the strength that comes from the solid rock foundation of Jesus.
