Leaving a Mark

How awful David must’ve felt to realize that his biggest betrayal was from “friends”.

May we never be in a position to bless our friends, but instead harm them with our words and actions.
Our goal should always be to protect our friendships by being honest and respectful. We should want to leave a loving mark on all those we connect with everyday. It becomes a scar when you have handed out something that will require healing for them to move on from having been your “friend”.
If you are not caring how, you leave people, check yourself. If you say to yourself, “Oh well, they’ll get over it!” That is such a harmful stance and attitude to take on. When you think about it, you are doing harm both to them and yourself.
Psalm 55:12-13 NLT
[12] It is not an enemy who taunts me- I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me- I could have hidden from them. [13] Instead, it is you-my equal, my companion and close friend. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
