How do young folks usually learn how to live right?

-Is it by books? It can be, if it’s the right books.

-Is it by telling them and telling them? Yes, until they shut off the sound of your voice.

-Is it by taking them to church and letting the Sunday School Teacher teach a lesson out of the church curriculum? If they are listening to a qualified and well-studied teacher and what they are teaching is scriptural, then yes. If not, then no, not a good source. Know what is being taught to your kiddos.

OR

-Is it by observing someone they love and trust? A resounding YES! And if you combine that with sharing, with love, what the Bible has for them and guiding them as a parent or mentor to do what is right and good, then bravo! You can be a great example for our future generation.

If you are portraying the 5 things in the photo, that is a huge start in being someone children and teens could follow. Those are things we can control and contribute to a better life for everyone involved.

If you have trouble with any of these, it may mean that you need to pray that the mind of Christ be manifested more in your daily life. “Ask and it shall be given”.

Titus 2:4,6 NLT
