I know what it’s like to be pulled in all different directions. I know what it’s like to have worry overtake my thoughts. I know what it’s like to have my life horribly and drastically changed. I know what it feels like to be alone with no physical connection. I know what it’s like to be concerned for my future.
I also know what it is like to feel the forgiveness of God and others. I know how it feels to have relationships restored. I know the peace that comes from God. A peace that takes worry and replaces it with confidence in my relationship with Jesus. I have found that my best friend is someone that walks on water and calms the storms in my life.
Things may be all topsy-turvy at the moment for you. You may have even lost it all. You may be physically struggling. You may be grieving the loss of those close to you.
My encouragement to you this day is to take time to be alone with God. Don’t be mad at Him. Rely on His strength to carry you. As a song I love says, “If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders, I know He will carry you!” Stand on that and pray for His love and guidance in the days ahead.
Philippians 4:6-7 TPT
[6] Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, [7] then God's wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.
