Today’s verse is from Paul to Timothy. Paul was in prison waiting for his death sentence to play out. Even in his dire circumstances, he wanted his dear friend to know that he prayed for him without fail.

Paul was aware of how difficult things were for Timothy due to the persecution and abandonment he faced on a daily basis. So, he did what he knew to do, which was to pray and encourage his friend.

If you have those in your life that you can’t be there in the flesh, but are aware that they are facing major difficulties, you can be a prayer warrior for them. Put aside what you may facing at this moment in time and remember them. You can pray and encourage them just as Paul did for Timothy.

They don’t have to wait for a letter, as Timothy did. In your case you can call them or even text them with your encouragement. Your call or text might be just what keeps them off the ledge of despair another day.

A quote that gives you an example of the importance of prayer…” Grandmas prayers are the reason a lot of us are still here.” Wow! But it’s not just grandmas' prayers…It’s you and me. What if your prayers for someone actually saved their life? What if these prayers kept them from doing something really stupid?

So thankful for praying grandparents, parents, siblings and friends that have had me in their prayers over the years.

Be that prayer lifeline for others in your life! Not just today but every day.

2 Timothy 1:3 NLT

[3] Timothy, I thank God for you-the God I serve with a clear conscience, just as my ancestors did. Night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
