The adjective form of “stout” according to dictionary.com: bold, brave, or dauntless.
All too often we become so discouraged and disappointed when things do not work out the way we desire them to on the first attempt; we give up. Y’all…that’s exactly what the devil wants. He is actively seeking ways to discourage and take away hope in our lives.
What if it is failing 19 times, but not giving in to the negativity? What if on that 20th try you get the desired result you have been praying for since the get go? I’m saying that by not giving up, you have a chance. If you give up, all hope of success is out the window.
Staying strong with a “never give up” mentality takes a heart that heals and is open to God’s leading.
Whatever you are believing God for, be patient, be brave, be stouthearted, and be courageous. He WILL help you!
Psalm 27:14 TLB
[14] Don't be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you.
