What you believe affects everything in your life. It goes all the way back to when you were little. When you jumped off the porch into your daddy’s arms or when he threw you in the air, you laughed with glee as he caught you. Why would you laugh? You had no doubts that he would catch you. You believed in his love for you, and he wouldn’t let you fall.

Now you are grown up and having a life that is really not in a place of love and happiness. Does this mean you should focus more on right living? Yes, but just putting away or turning away from the wrong things in your life won’t do the trick. You need a heart change that comes from believing in Jesus and His ability to totally change your life.

When you truly believe that you are forgiven for ALL your sins, you will start to have an understanding of being righteous in His sight. It will result in right living because of right believing. It doesn’t give you a reason to sin with abandonment, instead a belief in forgiveness when you do stumble.

“I believe that the solution to stopping sin is not found in focusing on right living. It is found in right believing.” Joseph Prince

Habakkuk 2:4 NLT

[4] "Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
