Inner Strength

So many folks don’t try to do anything “new” because of fear or many because of indifference. They are “set in their ways “and just feel no need to do anything different from what’s been done for years, even generations.

My question today is, “What if you took a step out of your comfort zone, and are amazed at how much better your life is? I personally think folks need to acknowledge that they are not where they need to be and make some changes. Being healthy is so important at whatever age you are.

Maybe you need to start getting some exercise but have gotten used to plopping on the couch after a meal.

I heard a wise lady mention yesterday that “walking around the block (10 minutes) after a meal would help us so much”. But you have to take that first step (be it ever so small). Your health is affected either way.

Maybe you’ve been wanting to shop/eat differently, but just feel as if making a change would just be too hard.

Why did I put “shop” with “eat”? They really go together. There are ingredients in some products that are harmful to your health, you have to be wise in what you purchase to use in your house. Are there toxins in the air you breathe in your home sweet home? Also, so much of the population is overweight, there needs to be an awareness of what we are buying and eating daily. Are we getting what we need from what we are putting in our mouth, or are we eating the wrong foods while throwing nutrition out the window? Habits are hard to break, but not impossible.

You know, as a Christian, you don’t have to rely just on “will-power”. There is an inner strength that gives you what you need to step out and do something you’ve never done. We also can have wisdom in making the correct decisions. “Greater is He”.

Use that inner strength and take the steps. I think you will be amazed in how your life is changed for the better.
