One of my favorite quotes from “Dumb and Dumber” is when Jim Carey’s character asked a gal what the chances of her getting with a guy like him and she tells him ‘Like one in a million’… to which he says, “So you’re telling me I’ve got a chance, yeah!”

That was a funny line, but also (in a weird sort of way) gives us an example of hope. Regardless of how things appear at the moment, thinking on the positive side allows us to see the possibilities.

If you tend to look at the glass as half empty instead of half full all the time, you are operating in a survival mode. You are always waiting for the “other shoe to drop”. That has to be miserable.

On the other hand, knowing that nothing is impossible with God should help to make your life not just bearable, but packed full of possibilities. Having His power in your life comes with the realization He is sufficient in all things.

When you have “one of those days” when you are feeling inadequate, look at that word “impossible” and see “I’m Possible” … because you are!! Through God, all things (including you) are possible

Luke 1:37 TPT
