I'll Think About That Tomorrow

No! Today is the day. Today is always the day to get things going in your life. Instead of saying, “I’ll think about that tomorrow,” start saying this quote from Benjamin Franklin, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today!” This will help you in your procrastinating problems, or at the very least get you to thinking in the right direction.

We all have the same amount of “time” in our day to get things done. Time management is the issue. Or in Pharoah's case in today’s verse, being plain old stubborn. He told Moses to wait until tomorrow to ask the Lord to get rid of the plague of frogs.

Imagine being so stubborn that you would allow frogs to cover every inch of your property and land. Imagine that there were so many that they were heaped up in piles all over the place, all because you wanted to wait until tomorrow to take care of the frog problem. Imagine the smell of dead frogs permeating the air. That was Pharoah. Unbelieving and STUBBORN.

What is keeping you from seizing the moment? Are you a procrastinator or just a plain old stuck-in-your-way stubborn person? Neither of those should be an option for you. God showed out for Moses and stopped the onset of frogs just as he promised.

Sometimes we want everything to be perfect before we take action. We think waiting until tomorrow will make it easier. Doing that just allows more frogs (excuses) to pile up. Attack the frogs in your life with actions. Pray and allow God to show out for you. And as my father-in-law used to say, “There is no tomorrow! When tomorrow gets here, it is today!” Take your moment.

Exodus 8:10 NLT

[10] "Do it tomorrow," Pharaoh said. "All right," Moses replied, "it will be as you have said. Then you will know that there is no one like the LORD our God.
