Here We Go Round in Circles

Let’s think about how things work right now in our day-to-day existence. We wake up with the sun (or it’s cloudy), we have our coffee, we read our Bible, we go to work or work from home, we interact with friends and family, we eat, we take care of bills and other business, we may watch the news or a movie, we shop either online or at a store, we sit outside or visit with neighbors, we text or call folks, we exercise (or we don’t), we may throw in some travel…then … we go to bed after the sun goes down.
“Here We Go Round in Circles”. Yep. Really nothing new, just the same ole circle of life. This means the way we go about our lives is “nothing unusual”. We have in some ways become predictable.
Then we are thrown a curve ball. Something interrupts our mundane life. This is when “nothing new under the sun” is seen in a different light for you. When you go through tough spots, it is good to know that someone else has probably already faced something very similar and you can face it too. Just because you are “going through it”, doesn’t mean it is “new”.
Face it, put it behind you, and move on!
The most important thing to remember is that God wants to do a NEW thing in your life. Know that, as you put those things in the past, allow Him to reach you in your most inward parts.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 GNT
[9] What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in the whole world. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
