Help Your Kids Increase in Wisdom

Parents are facing “back to school” activities this month. This can include new clothes, shoes, and supplies (notebooks; pens; ruler; etc). You will get caught up in making sure they have all the things they need for a successful school year. This is an important thing for you as a parent.

There is something else you should make sure you do for them…instill courage, wisdom, knowledge of right and wrong, respect and knowing that they can come to you as their parent about anything.

Guide them in knowing and understanding that Jesus is their example in all things (even more so than you). Encourage them to read the Bible out loud so that they hear His promises too.

Be sure you, as their parent, are studying the Bible as well. They may have some questions about what they’ve read and come to you for answers.

On a final note, raising kids is not for sissies. Be strong in the Lord as you help them “increase in wisdom and favor with God and man”.

Luke 2:52 AMPC

[52] And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
