He's There

Take time to explore all of Psalm 139. It is chock-full of how much the Lord is aware of your existence and what you need in your life. It starts out by saying, “He knows everything about you.” Well, that’s good to know from the very start. No need to try and hide anything from Him (which is impossible anyway). Verse 8 gives it to you straight up … “If I go up to heaven, you’re there! If I go down to the realm of the dead, you’re there too!” That covers a lot of territory.

There are times in our lives where we feel so far away from God.

There is a story of a married couple riding down the road with the wife sitting over next to the passenger side door … she turns to her husband who is driving and says, “Remember when we used to sit right next to each other in our travels? Now we are so far away!” To which the husband replies, “I haven’t moved!” Bam!

That’s powerful when thinking about relationships, especially your relationship with God. He hasn’t moved … you have. But you have never moved so far that God cannot reach you and pull you out of whatever situation you’re facing. The scripture says that wherever we go, He is there to guide us and strengthen us.

If you have moved away from the power that He offers, just scoot over next to Him … He’s there. He hasn’t moved.

Psalm 139:6,10 TPT

This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength. [10] Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
