Have You Asked?

So many times, in my “growing up” years, I didn’t go somewhere or do something I really wanted to do because I didn’t ask my parents if I could. Most times, this was due to thinking “they won’t let me, so why would I ask”. What a foolish way to think. It is true that they may not have given their permission, but at least I asked. I would never do anything if I didn’t at least ask. Right?
Most parents truly want what’s best for their kids. When what you are requesting is not in your best interest, they will (or should at least) give a definite “no”. This doesn’t mean that you don’t keep the communication open with them. Just the opposite. This back and forth in any relationship is imperative for growth.
Also, in a very practical sense, if you asked your mom for some food, she is not going to give you a plate of rocks, right? Neither is God. He wants really good for you.

Have you stopped seeking God through prayer? He has given us His Word to know and understand how to pray. We ask according to His Will BELIEVING He hears us and wants our very best. Absolutely leave no room for doubt.
Your Heavenly Father has so many wonderful gifts for you. Are you not seeing them? Have you asked believing? He has already provided all you need, so look in His Word and see what is there. If you don’t know what He has provided, prayer is futile. How can you pray with intelligence, if you don’t know His promises.
Matthew 7:11 TPT
[11] If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what's best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?" #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
