Everything in your life, good or bad, depends on how well you love yourself and others. You may think you have it all together and can treat your family and friends any old way you want to, but I must say, that is just not true.

Chapter 13 of 1 Corinthians is considered the love chapter in the Bible. Before it speaks of love being patient and kind, it mentions all the things you could do that are admirable. Those things don’t really mean anything without love being there.

We should all want our love to shine above everything else in our lives. It must rise above any hurt, anger, disappointment and even the great things we do. It has to be number one.

The big question is how can I do this? We constantly tell ourselves, “I am not perfect!” No one is saying we need to be perfect. But our hearts need to be perfect in love. This comes from knowing your Creator and allowing Him to live in your heart and life.

“Bless the Lord

Who reigns my life with so much love

He can make a perfect heart” ~Reba Rambo

1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV

[13] And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
