Guided by the Light

When it’s dark as pitch and you have been driving in a pouring rain, it is comforting to see lights up ahead and know you can pull over to safety.

The same is true when ships come in out of harbor. Imagine being out at sea and the ship is tossing around on the waves. Fear grips you and you may wonder if you will make it. Then in a distance you see that light ahead from the lighthouse and a sense of peace and calmness comes over ya. You are almost home.

There are those that are looking for a glimmer of hope. They don’t think they are gonna make it. That is why it is so important for us to be the light to the world. We need to be a guiding light to help others find their way home. We are to be like a city on a hill. When a city is lit up, it cannot be hidden.
