Have you ever laughed until you cried? If not, you are so missing out!
In the today’s photo you see one of those moments.

My sisters (Linda Collier Sondra Faulkner), brothers [Larry Tollison Jim Tollison] (not in the picture) and I, had been sitting in the surgery waiting room for hours, and stressed to the max. We were waiting on news from doctors about our mom’s latest surgery. My brother, Jimmy, was always lightening the situation with some sort of story that would result in laughter. Even when laughter, deemed by some, to be inappropriate, we had those relieving times. Our hearts were given a time of joy even in the midst of a difficult situation.
We are to have times of laughter and times of joy. They refresh us. The Bible even calls it “good medicine”.
I can remember having those “laugh until you cry” times with good friends too.
*Pam Sellars Raney, used to share a story that still makes me laugh. Most that know her, know exactly the story I am referring to.
*Lindsey Williams used to break out in song while we worked on stress-filled political t.v. orders, that would result in tear-filled laughter. I so loved her for that.
*Bobby Maupin has a way of laughing that will cause me to join in even if I don’t have a clue what is so funny. All I know is my heart is happy and I need a Kleenex.
Those that live the opposite of finding the good and happiness in life, are actually just existing. And, that existence is both broken and devoid of strength.
Life is hard but can be lightened if given the opportunity to look for the joy.
Proverbs 17:22 NLT
[22] A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
