Goes Before Me and Follows Me

There are many of you that just don’t have that assurance in your heart that God is there for you. Many have been brought up to believe that God has all these requirements to deserve His love and protection. You have been made to believe that you have to be “good enough” for Him to be a part of your life. If this describes you, then take heart.

When you believed that what He did on the cross was for you and you confessed Him as Lord, along with that comes an assurance that I want you to know and understand today. He goes before you and follows you through any and everything. It reminds me of this quote:

“I'm already there

I'm the beat in your heart

I'm the moonlight shining down

I'm the whisper in the wind

And I'll be there 'til the end

Can you feel the love that we share?

No matter what you have going on in your life, God is there. When you travel or when you’re at home, you are not alone. You just need to be aware of His presence. Have faith in Him and that He wants what’s best for you.

Do you have a tough situation facing you? He is already there. Is your family going through a bump in the road? He is there. Are you celebrating some cool successes? He is there. Allow yourself to feel His presence in the good and the bad times of your life. When you mess up, and are in a pickle, He doesn’t turn His back on you. He is there to help you through it all.
