Getting to Know You

“…getting to know all about you.

Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you, putting it my way,

But nicely,

You are precisely,

My cup of tea.”

When you really want to know someone, you spend time with them. You take the time to pursue a relationship and truly know what is important to them.

If you just want a “surfacy” friendship, then be that type of friend. But if you desire to have friends that have your back, and love you through thick and thin, then be that kind of friend to others.

Desiring a real connection with God is also in your lap. Just being religious is not enough.

If you want to know God…pursue Him. It takes more than just wanting a relationship, it takes putting in an effort on your part. He is a gentleman and will never push Himself on anyone. The cool thing is, when you make that effort, He will respond to you just as sure as morning comes every day.
