So much of our lives can be so aggravating, because we’ve invited fear to take up residency. Wouldn’t it be better if we faced fear with the positivity of faith?
The obvious answer is YES!!!
At times we have to remind ourselves as Timothy was reminded, to utilize the faith that is within us. It really is up to us to decide to live in faith. This will mean that you renew your mind on a daily basis.
Don’t lie to yourself by thinking I’m strong all on my own. Sure, some have in-born qualities, but even those folks have bouts of fear. They still need Jesus.
What set Timothy apart was his genuine faith. He had examples that were in his life that proved how important this kind of faith was.
“Be strong in the Lord”! This will push out that aggregating fear.
2 Timothy 1:5 NLT
[5] I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you.
