Genuine Faith

Peter was writing to Christians that were living out their faith among those that didn’t have the same beliefs. These believers were in a sense, foreigners, but still let their faith shine through during all trials.
It was this “fuel” of genuine faith that kept their hope alive. Their hope was in the resurrected Jesus Christ. He was encouraging them by saying “May God give you more and more grace and peace.”
Let me extend that same encouragement to you today. May you continue to allow your faith to carry you through any and all trials in your life. May you have the peace that passes all understanding.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and all He endured for you. Hebrews 12:3 should help you … “Think about Jesus. He patiently endured the angry insults that sinful people were shouting at him. Think about him so that you won't get discouraged and stop trying.”
May your genuine faith fuel your desire to live for Him and be a warrior that overcomes trials while turning potential into reality.
1 Peter 1:7 NLT
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
