Full of God's Goodness

Today’s verse comes from a prayer that Paul was praying for the folks at Ephesus. All of that prayer is in verses 14-21. I want to focus on verse 19 and help us get a glimpse into that love of Christ that has “made His home in our hearts”. Did you catch that? Christ has made his home in the hearts of believers. Don’t you just love that?
When you feel at home with a friend, there is a difference in how you experience stuff. The friendship is so strong between you two that your home is their home. They are welcome to be in any room of your home, look in the fridge and grab a water or whatever.
Now imagine that type of experience with Christ. Imagine that He is actually with you in every room of your life. You have made Him welcome in everything. This, in part, is what experiencing the “love of Christ” is all about.
We will never understand His love totally, but we are being filled each day. His desire is for us to be complete. He wants us to be FULL of life and power. That is when that home is full of God’s goodness and love.
You don’t have to understand everything about His love for you, just allow Him to complete His work in you. “He who began a good work in you, is faithful to complete it”. (Phil 1:6)
Ephesians 3:19 NLT
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
