Have you ever just gone along with what everyone else was doing instead of listening to that still small voice speaking wisdom in your ear? This can be so dangerous and can lead to disaster.
The most visible example of this was when Jesus was before Pilate and the “crowd” was in a fury about releasing a murderer just so their desire to crucify Jesus was satisfied.
What did Pilate do? Did he stand his ground and refuse to let an innocent man be tortured and hung on a cross? No. He did what seemed comfortable for him and went along with the crowd’s wishes. Because of this decision to let the crowd rule, he released Barabbas and turned Jesus over to the Roman soldiers
.
You may be facing some kind of problem that requires you to either be set apart and truthful or to take the easy way out. Just know you don’t have to do anything that will be a detriment to you. You can do the right thing.
Always choose the honorable over the crowd.
Mark 15:15 NLT
[15] So to pacify the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
