Focus on Today

Sometimes we just need to let go of the stuff that is weighing us down and just focus on today…this moment. The Bible even says tomorrow has enough trouble of its own. We need to focus on how we handle this moment…this day. There is peace in knowing we have someone so dependable and willing to be our strength. We never have to go through anything alone.

The scripture tells us that we can be like an eagle. Eagles are among the fastest birds on the planet, soaring up to 15,000ft high into the sky. Flying at an average speed of 50 mph, they can reach up to 100 mph when diving to catch a meal.

So how can we be like the eagle? We can soar above the problems and circumstances of this life. We don’t have to let worry enter our minds when we know that we can be above the problems in this moment. We can have God’s best and have the ability to walk through any situation and not grow weary, leaving worry at the door where it tried to enter.

Live in this moment and relax as you experience the peace, joy and contentment that comes from knowing God has got you. He gives you what you need to walk through this life and soar above as needed.

Isaiah 40:31 NLT

[31] But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
