Finding Favor

When the angel Gabriel came to Mary, something was said that many don’t understand. “Greetings highly favored one!” What does finding favor or being highly favored in your life really mean?

Take a look at this quote…

“Divine favor is an exciting, free gift from God. It’s part of your inheritance to do great and mighty exploits for God and His Kingdom. Favor brings supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honor and many other benefits.”

Imagine hearing from an angel in the way the young, teenage Mary did. She was a young woman that had never been with a man, but was told she had found favor and would have a special place of honor that was going to change the world.

There were others in the scriptures that received the favor of God. So why would they be honored with that? I think they followed the principles found in Proverbs.

Proverbs 11:27 NASB95

[27] He who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but he who seeks evil, evil will come to him.

Seek Gods favor as you do good and not evil.

Luke 1:28 TPT

[28] Gabriel appeared to her and said, "Grace to you, young woman, for the Lord is with you and so you are anointed with great favor." #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
