Failure-Don't Stay One

I can see where you are coming from when you say out loud what many think … “I ‘have’ failed or ‘may’ fail and no longer see myself as a good or strong person.” This is the kind of thinking and talking that gets you nowhere. It could just be the thing that makes you miss out on something wonderful in your life. You may be at a point of stepping into blessings your mind can’t even fathom. That self-doubt and condemnation of failure make you hesitate when you should be listening to God.

Today’s verses brings us back to the Israelites ready to step into that land that had been promised to them. Even though God has promised to go ahead of them and defeat the “giants” of the land; even though He said He would fight for them; even though He reminded them of the love and care He had already provided … this group of “failure thinking” folks just wouldn’t trust in Gods provision. They “thought” they knew better than God. They thought they would surely fail and be defeated if they stepped into that land.

This line of thinking caused them to miss out on something God had already prepared for them.

Something amazing.

We must let go of “failure mentality”. We must start today to realize our God goes before us to prepare our way. We must trust that leadership, not the circumstances that may surround it.

Deuteronomy 1:29-31 NLT

[29] "But I said to you, 'Don't be shocked or afraid of them! [30] The LORD your God is going ahead of you. He will fight for you, just as you saw him do in Egypt. [31] And you saw how the LORD your God cared for you all along the way as you traveled through the wilderness, just as a father cares for his child. Now he has brought you to this place.' #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
