Encourage and Strengthen

I’m so thankful to have had those in my life that were there at the right time and place. I’m thankful that they followed their heart and prayed for me both in person and in their own private prayer time.
Sometimes people get to a point where they don’t have the energy or motivation to be able to do the things they need to accomplish. They may have begun to feel no one cares and they are alone.
It is those times when you can make a huge difference in their life by “showing up”. When you actually “show up” for them, there is a sense of “I don’t have to be in this all by myself”. You can let them cry or vent and you listen. You can pray for them. You can help them see that things can be better. You can gently guide them to the One who changes lives.
In Hebrews we also see that encouragement is a daily thing, not just when someone is struggling. In the GW version of Heb 3:13 it says, “Encourage each other every day while you have the opportunity. If you do this, none of you will be deceived by sin and become stubborn.” We need a “tribe” of friends and family that will be there for each other every single day. The deception is real, and we face it every day.
Be a force for those around you with encouragement from your heart and strength that comes from the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 GW
[11] Therefore, encourage each other and strengthen one another as you are doing. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
