Embrace the New

It is not difficult to get in a rut and just want to stay there. It is familiar and, in some ways, comfortable and somewhat cozy. If you tried something different, it would mean you may have to actually get out of your “comfort zone”.

Let me be an encouragement to you this morning by saying, “You can do this!” No matter what the “this” is, you CAN do it. It doesn’t matter the hangups you keep putting out there. Those type of comments you keep making about your abilities are coming from a place of false self-awareness. Your abilities are not just dependent on you anyway. As a child of God, you have His unlimited power to do the “new thing”.

You need to start remembering where you came from and Who holds your future. The Israelites had just been brought out of captivity and safely traveled through the Red Sea and God basically told them, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!” There was a new thing coming their way. They were about to see provisions like never before.

Get out of that “rut” you find yourself in and embrace the “new thing” and go for it. Allow God’s power and provision to guide you. You ain’t seen nothing yet!

Isaiah 43:19 NLT

[19] For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
