Due Diligence

We’ve heard this phase many times, “Do your due diligence!” I pray that all of you have done that in regard to making your vote count. This means that you have done a thorough investigation into the candidates and can make an informed decision as who would be best to lead our country. You haven’t just made your decision on the basis of what the media may have led you to believe.
I have many friends on different sides of this decision. My advice to each of you is to see how well the candidates match up to what you treasure as a Christian. Personality aside, are they wanting to lead our country into stability? Have they proven themselves to be a respected leader?
Both of the presidential candidates have flaws. That is a fact. Keep in mind most all of our past and current leaders have a past. Some were able to keep that hidden until out of office. Those nasty skeletons have a way of coming out.
We also have to realize we are choosing a leader to lead our country and deal with leaders all over the world. The world leaders are also flawed. We need a courageous leader.
Bottom line, we are not voting on a pastor to lead a congregation. We are choosing the better of two candidates. Ask yourself, “Who has a commitment to lead our country in a way that has our best interest at heart?” If they have proven to support their own interests, we are being led into a wasteland
.
If you don’t allow your voice to be heard via your vote, you are yelling at the top of your lungs, “I don’t care!”
Proverbs 29:4 MSG
[4] A leader of good judgment gives stability; an exploiting leader leaves a trail of waste. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
