There are a lot of locations in the United States that will experience an Eclipse today. There will be darkness in the middle of the afternoon for approximately two to three minutes. That will give us just a slight idea of what it is like to be without light.

I often wonder what it was like the day that Jesus was crucified, and it became dark in the middle of the afternoon. I think for a lot of folks who were there and witnessed all of this take place, could have started to realize that they may have actually hung the Light of the World that day.

Jesus is our light, and we do not have to stay in the darkness that comes from living a life without Him. We just have to put our trust in all He has done for us. In Him, there is no darkness. In Him there is true love for others. To state it better, “God is love” and “God is light”. So, if you have Him in your life, there is no place in your life for hate or dark living.

Enjoy the Eclipse today. Stay safe. Wear those eclipse glasses for protection. In the small span of darkness, give some thought about THE Light of the World. No one has to stay in the dark, love and light is there. If you seek it, you will find it.

John 12:46 NLT

[46] I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
