Trying to blend in with the crowd is not meant for those of us that are wanting to live for Jesus. When you try to conform your life to fit into the world’s mold, you’re asking for trouble.

What does it mean to conform? From Britannica.com “conformity, the process whereby people change their beliefs, attitudes, actions, or perceptions to more closely match those held by groups to which they belong or want to belong or by groups whose approval they desire.”

That conformity idea starts in your head. But God can give you a new way of thinking that is different from the way the world thinks and does.

You don’t NEED to be in the “in crowd” and go where they go and try to think like them. Do they have your best interest at heart? God does. He knows that trying to live your life pleasing others’ whims is both wrong and heartbreaking.

Seek out what Gods will is and you will begin to understand what pleases Him. The simple truth is, it pleases Him when you are living for Him and being different in the way you deal with others. Not the way of the world, but in honesty and fairness. Dare to be different…it’s a good thing.

Romans 12:2 ERV

[2] Don't change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
