It is amazing to me how we humans can make everything so difficult. We can take a simple thing like where to go for dinner and turn it into a big ordeal. We can know that we should get more rest, yet we will stay up til all hours doing what…nothing. We can see someone in dire need of friendship yet let someone else take up the slack.

What about more serious things? What about those placed in our lives that been hurt or robbed of their once happy life? Do we sit back and let them hurt? What about harming other people…would we ever do that?

God has given us a simple guideline of how to live. The prophet Jeremiah gave the instructions to the kings of Judah, and it still applies today. It is simple, don’t make it difficult. Be a good person period.

Do what is right and fair in all situations

.

Jeremiah 22:3 ERV

[3] This is what the LORD says: Do what is right and fair. Protect those who have been robbed from the ones who robbed them. Don't hurt or do anything wrong to orphans or widows. Don't kill innocent people. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
